I love that Mousse is finding its way back. When you apply it into your hands it feels so rich and luxurious, like an really great shave cream.

How does the packaging look and hold up?

Healium has place a lot of emphasis on their superior packaging and it is apparent here again. Clean colors and a great top, easy to read directions and perfect dispensing.

We put it through the paces!

Our team loves Mousse again and "aiHr Whipp"; is the BOMB BABY. Gets through the hair easily without building up and allowed just enough time to dry with tools without getting sticky and super tacky.

We actually used this as a setting tool and fell in love. Working on some amazing retro styles with a strong homage to current Hipsters we needed something that would let us set the hair lightly damp and then work just parts of the hair with dryers and brushes. Healium aiHr Whipp Mousse got right out to the front of the line in performance.

Just leaving it in the hair slightly damp and working with the Cloud Nine "O" we wrapped everything neatly and cleanly and let the aiHr Whipp and the "O" do their magic.

That really took things up a notch, great curl formation and super hold for the combing and the setting that came next. LOVED it.

We played with aiHr Whipp and placed it into some great naturally curly hair with a bit of a cocktail using the Reflective Mist while we worked our hands through the hair. Great soft results with this cocktail. Hit the ends with out brushe and we were off to the races.

What is it supposed to DO?

How does the packaging look and hold up?

The Team at Healium Hair has really gone out of their way to make sure that they are using packaging for their products of the highest standards. This feels great and secure in the hand when styling and it never seemed to get clogged. Great misting action.

Holding Power

NONE, shine only.

We put it through the paces!

OH YEAH, we did. We Sprayed it, on our hands and worked it through finished styles, awesome. Then we tried spraying direct (holding about 10 to 12 inches away to get the most of the misting effect) and BAM very smooth and light shine.
We used our Cloud Nine Wand (if you have NOT read the review and dreamed of the product start this is the hottest product on the professional market) and just wrapped the hair and again BAM, super clean shiny hair with amazing reflection. This combination was incredible for styling, period.

Like other products of its type there is the chance to overuse it and the hot tolls just soaked up any extra easily.

Trick one, spray on your hands first and run through your hair, you can control the amount you use easier this way.

If like us you still are in love with big hair "mist lightly" from 10 -12 inches.

Thick straight hair, mist lightly and hit with your Cloud Nine Iron, the results are worth it!

We love when a company comes out with a product that DOES NOT always need friends. This is surely the case here. Anyone can use this and adding it to your collection is just something that makes sense.

What is cool is that there is a generous amount in the bottle. Healium did the right thing here, they could have easily created a 2 ounce version and kept the pricing the same but this size bottle makes more sense to actually work with and is an amazing value for the performance.

We applied to very damp hair and the product felt rich and creamy as we placed it into the hair. It was absorbed very easily and was not to thick.

How does the packaging look and hold up?

A very luxurious feel to the bottle. The attention to the packaging is always important to us as details seem to make the difference. It was easy to work with and the application distributed the perfect amount every time.

Holding Power

Although we experienced some "hold" or body there is not a holding pwoer to the product.

This product was a lot of fun to work with and our team loves to play. The damaged areas of the hair were "reborn" literally. They became pliable and easily responded to our styling. Fine hair had more body and thicker hair had a bit more control. Obviously we worked with hot tools and during this test we worked with the Cloud Nine "O" roller system. Quick fix was awesome when we paired it with the rollers. the hair had more bounce and body then we knew what to do with BUT of course we figured it out easily. LASTING hold is what we found with the roller system and did we love playing with it.

Overall what we feel is that this product works amazing on damp to very damp hair. The product delivered on what it promised and was able to keep pace with what we needed and wanted. Our team "loved the body and condition of the hair" when completing the styling. Our clients love the "thicker and softer feeling of the hair" even the next day. We played with the Reflective Mist which we are reviewing as well and thought these two products really worked well together for our roller setting on normal to thicker hair.

Products you will need to complete the experience

This is easily a stand alone product because it will allow every other lines systems to look better and for the hair to be more responsive. Our feeling is that the Healium Positive Reaction Shampoo & Recover Conditioner are the missing links for hair that is seeing a lot of chemical and heat applications.
